We are glad you stopped by and hope you enjoy our website. 

Here at Mar-El-To we are always striving for sound, healthy dogs that conform to the breed standard.  We are passionate about our breed and hope to share our knowledge with those interested in Chihuahuas as well.

We are a family team, located in northern Indiana, that has worked together for the past 30 years breeding and exhibiting long and smooth coated Chihuahuas.  Over the years we, Frank & Sylvia Farkas, have bred a number of top 10 dogs and Registry of Merit producers.  Our granddaughter, Jennifer Snyder, has been part of our team since she was a young girl and is now sharing her part, along with her family, in the breeding and exhibiting of the Chihuahuas.  All our dogs are raised with care as part of our everyday family.  We take pride in our dogs and their pedigrees so please make sure to visit each page.  Our dogs are health tested and certificates are issued from OFA after they receive their clearances.  All our dogs are currently also tested through Embark's DNA Genetic testing which will help us continue to breed healthy and sound dogs.
